Infant Physical Therapy and Wellness
Supportive care for infants during their first year (0-12 months)
With so much advice on early childhood development, it’s not always clear what matters most for your baby. Every child is different, and understanding how to support their development in the first months is an important step for many parents.
Many families I work with notice little things that make them wonder if their baby is developing “on track,” from tummy time struggles to sleep or stooling challenges, head-turn preferences, or subtle body tension. These early months are full of learning and growth, and with the right support, you can help your baby reach milestones while feeling confident and reassured.
Infant physical therapy is designed to support your baby’s development and well-being through playful, age-appropriate activities tailored to their unique needs. Sessions combine therapeutic play with gentle manual therapy techniques that include infant massage, myofascial release, and total motion release. All to help your baby move comfortably, strengthen, and explore new skills.
Why Parents Choose This Support
Every baby’s development is unique, and sometimes the smallest adjustments can make a big difference! Sessions are designed to be gentle, supportive, and playful- so that both you and your baby leave feeling empowered, connected, and at ease.
My goal is to help your baby reach their milestones with ease while giving you tools, confidence, and reassurance along the way.
What to Expect
Your first visit is all about listening to your story, understanding your baby’s development, and observing your little one’s movement and behavior. We’ll assess muscle tone, posture, head shape, movement patterns, and motor skill progression. From there, we’ll develop a personalized plan with practical strategies you can use at home to encourage development and confidence.
These sessions are ideal for infants who may have:
Body tension or stiffness
Colic, reflux, or gas
Sleeping or stooling difficulties
Head turn/tilt preferences (torticollis)
Head shape concerns (plagiocephaly)
Tummy time difficulties or early milestone support
If you are unsure if your baby would benefit from infant physical therapy, complete the request form and I’ll help guide you to ensure you find the care you and your baby need.
